Solar Electricity

Since the beginning of time, the earth has been harnessing energy from the sun to power the planet: The water cycle, wind and weather systems, and the photosynthesis of plants all run off of solar power. Every day the amount of energy sent to the earth by the sun is equivalent to the global energy demand for 4-5 years. Thanks to proven technologies like solar thermal, solar electric  (photovoltaic, PV) and wind turbines, we can now turn solar power into usable photovoltaic energy.  Using solar power, we can tap into one of the only energy sources on our planet that isn’t diminished by harvesting.

The mountain states get more than enough sun to power your home with solar electricity. In fact, with over 300 days of sun annually, Colorado is one of the best states for a photovoltaic system.
